Our ability to change with the times means your video production will be produced using high-end standard definition capable of shooting in native widescreen format. The staff of Valley Video Services has experience in Corporate Video Productions, Legal Videography, Event Videography, and Independent Feature and Short Films.

Our newest cameras are capable of both standard and widescreen presentations, 30 and 24 frame interlaced and progressive modes, and editing is performed using a non-linear editing system which means that your finished product can be delivered to you on DVD or VHS with a short turn-around time. Valley Video Services can produce your video from start to finish including scripting and narration.


CAMERA: Two Canon XL-2 miniDV Camcorder's with XL-Mount 20x Zoom Lens and 3x Wide Zoom Lens. Canon GL-2 miniDV Camcorder with 20x Zoom Lens. Miscellaneous Filters. Two Manfrotto 503 Fluid Head Tripods. Sony DVD Recorder (allowing for on-site 1, 2, or 6 hour DVD recordings).


LIGHTING: 3 Smith-Victor 650W Tungsten Lights complete with barndoors, diffusers, dimmers, tripods, and assorted grip gear. Additional fill lights.


Sound Booth at Valley Video Services

SOUND: Field sound package includes: Sennheiser ME 66 shotgun, hand-held and lavaliere mics, boom poles, windsocks, plus many more accessories. Sound Booth: Valley Video Services has an in- house sound booth which features an Audio Technica AT3525 vocal mic and can be used for voice- over, narration, small instruments, and foley sound effects.


EDITING: Editing systems include: 2 x 2.66 Dual-Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro, Dual 2.5 GHz G5 Power Mac both with Final Cut Pro 5, Motion 2, DVD Studio Pro 4, Soundtrack Pro, LiveType, Compressor, Quicktime Pro, Photoshop CS2, Digital Juice Editor Toolkits, Digital Juice Presenters Kit, Juice Drops, and over 2 TB of hard drive space. Primera Bravo II Disc Publisher for disc duplication. Mastering & source formats: miniDV, Digital 8mm, 16mm and 8mm film, CD, MiniDisc, VHS, and DVD.
